Very Good

Staff gets a 10 out of 10. The three pools were good. Breakfast excellent. Lobby nice. Our room had a very nice view over the beach.

Garden needs cleaning and vegetation needs cuttong. Painting touchup might also be a good idea. Sunbeads did not suite us well. Regardless of this I would go again.

Herring bar was amazing. Staff member Evaan was very accommodating to our needs.

Didn’t realise we were not allowed to bring outside food in. Made it very difficult when my partner was very ill and I got in trouble for bringing him food

Beautiful resort with an amazing lobby view

Striking view of the beach and hill backdrop as you walk through the lobby. Beautiful room (deluxe sea facing with balcony) which had fantastic views of the ocean, and where you could enjoy memorable sunsets on the private balcony of the room.

Walking to and from the beach, which was literally downstairs, was an absolute mission. There were so many steps to climb to get to the top of the hotel which I found completely tiring.. the gym was very small, and the changing area of the gym only had one shower.

Nice hotel on the outskirts of busy Patong

The staff was absolutely friendly and very helpful! Our rooms (building 3) had great views and nice balconies.

We were travelling with my 80 year old mother in law and the hotel is not great for handicapped people as there are a lot of stairs and no elevators leading to the rooms However the staff was very helpful to change my mother in laws room to one that involved less stairs climbing. Our room was a bit dark and even though a family room I would book 2 rooms next time (our kids are 14 and 11). For families with younger children it is great to have the bunk bed in the room.

Well i wood say that on a whole we enjoyed our stay although there are areas for improvement,

Breakfast was of a good standard with a great variation to meet all tastes

The coffee from the dispenser was pretty poor to be honest.

Great getaway by the beach and just tucked away

Breakfast spread was very good: Lots of choice including a range of fruits, eggs, pastries, yogurts, etc.

Housekeeping seemed to have a bit of a challenge remembering towels, but they made good with a phone call.

What was the highlight of Novotel Phuket Resort

First time in Phuket and we loved it.

Location is great. Somewhat distant from the night life actions albeit some noise at nights (we were there during Christmas), the beach is right across the street (it's a two way street with no traffic light). Special thanks to the skinny day shift security guard who helped us cross the street every time we went out. Breakfast was great, as they offer a good rage of Western, Asian, and Indian dishes. There is a big mall called Jungceylon and you can get there on foot in about half an hour, use hotel shuttle, or use a taxi app called Bolt. The hotel shuttle runs efficiently, but unless you book in advance, especially for the returning trip, they may not run as scheduled. You can get a local taxi called Tuktuk and they usually ask for THB300, but you can negotiate to THB200 as this is the usual price if you book through Bolt.

The hotel is on a hill, and going up and down can be quite tiring if you have bad knees or travelling with old parents. They provide a buggy service between the entrance of the hotel and the lobby level upon request. We were given connected rooms in the lower floor of the hotel (not sure of the name but something like "Azure"), and we had to walk up a few floors up to use the facilities such as pool, gym, and restaurant. My wife had a bad knee so after sometime, we used the buggy service from time to time. It was convenient to go to the beach, however, as it just takes a short small elevator way down to the street level, so if you do not mind walking up and down the stairs, ask for a room for Azure or Bourganville (again, not sure of the names of the wings but do check with the front office).

Wonderful experience

The first impression is amazing. You feel like you are entering into an episode of White Lotus :) We stayed in a room with direct access to pool. That was fantastic and private. Whole resort is so clean. The bed is huge and soo comfy. The staff is really friendly. They are always so cheerful and ready to help. All amenities in the room was good. The location is great you find yourself in the city in 5 mins after some stairs. Best and Thoey in the pool bar is so cool and helpful guys. View from the resort is incredible. Long story short great service with great staff

The wifi is not good in wuite a few parts in the resort. There are some housekeeping issues. A couple of days we had our towels very late even sometimes didnt get any. The shuttle to the city is not frequent enough mostly fully booked and not on time. The breakfast to me was not various and a bit poor. All these negatives are very little details but when you pay quite a lot of money, you expect an perfect service

The friendliness of the staff was superb, very respectful and polite

Think a hotel of this size should have had some entertainment at night. Because of our age we found walking up an incline to our room was hard.

The location was beautiful, food good ….. Views astounding , very beautiful location

You could not get your own ice , walk to front desk and order , if you got room service there was a 100 baht charge to get ice ….. hotel tuk tuk could have gone a 100 meters more to the beach, always not crossing the street

Perfect location and nice staff, but need to renew it.

Good location and view to Patong Beach. Breakfast and the meal was good quality. Nice staff.

Old hotel which is not 4*! Need to renew it. The hotel was almost empty because of the Covid19 and we got a room which was so far from the pool and restaurant and no view.
